John Gutzler is Director of Interior Design and the Space Planning Division. He joined Ford, Powell & Carson in 1982 and became a partner in 1991.

He received his Bachelors of Environmental Design from Texas A & M in 1979 and his Masters of Architecture from Texas A & M in 1982. He is a registered Interior Designer in Texas.

He has been involved in a broad range of interior design projects including Educational, Corporate, Hospitality and Residential. Some of the interiors that John Gutzler has designed include the San Antonio Central Library, El Fortin del Cibolo, Titan Insurance Corporate Offices, and the Dan Flavin Installation at the Chinati Foundation.
