McNay Art Institute
San Antonio, Texas

Tobin Wing, 1985
Lawson Gallery, 1982
Frost Galleries, 1975
Lang Galleries, 1973
Brown Wing, 1969

The firm designed five additions to the original McNay mansion from 1969 to 1985. All of the additions use exterior materials and proportions that reflect those of the historic mansion in order to reinforce its role as the centerpiece of the museum. The additions range in size from the 8300 square foot Tobin Wing to the 2400 square foot Lawson Gallery. The new construction has added a library, offices, service space, and additional galleries.
