Landscape Plan, 1999

Ford, Powell & Carson developed a master plan and completed the first phase of this project for the city of Port Arthur. The master plan established the boardwalk as a catalyst for future downtown economic growth along the banks of the Sabine-Neches River. The project included retail space and restaurants, support parking, pedestrian linkage to downtown landmarks, a ferry landing, and landscape enhancements.

In the first phase of the project our team completed the initial section of boardwalk, installed infrastructure for future expansion, and provided landscape architecture and irrigation services.
