This 18,000 square foot custom residence is sited near a small lake. Exterior materials include stucco walls with limestone wainscoting, standing seam metal roofs, and limestone-clad columns. The building has multiple terrace levels with a variety of trellises and courts. Ford, Powell & Carson used traditional Texas materials in contemporary ways to create a modern home that does not ignore time-honored ways of buildng.
