An excellent example of the firm's ongoing development of a southwestern regional architecture, this residence contains many of the architectural elements and features found in earlier residences designed by Ford, Powell & Carson. Smooth, naturally-colored stucco walls, vaulted ceilings, deeply recessed window openings, unique fireplace designs, and interior courtyards are part of a theme undergoing continual development. The interior courtyard can be shaded by drawn cloth shading devices.
