Company Headquarters
San Antonio, Texas

Interior Design, 1997

Ford, Powell & Carson's interiors department designed the interiors for a San Antonio company's headquarters. The ground floor is lease space, the second floor contains operations spaces, and the third floor holds the reception area and executive offices. The operations spaces were designed with office systems furnishings that allow unrestricted views onto an adjacent golf course. A low wall topped by a wood trellis separates the office spaces from the lobby and the glass enclosed conference room.

The centerpiece of the design is the custom-designed granite and mahogany reception desk at the floor's entry. A curved white glass wall flows behind the desk, defining and separating the reception area from the executive offices. Custom mahogany panels with stainless steel accents are used to define the boardroom, auditorium, conference areas, and executive offices. Crisp glass panels and doors recall the curved glass used at the building's entrance.
